The Wahl Balding Clippers are Powerful, with a very durable and long lasting professional V5000 clipper motor. They have been designed for the busy stylist or barber, and have rust resistant, high precision, chrome plated blades. The convenient taper adjuster screw helps create texture without the need of changing the blades.

The clipper has been ergonomically designed, but is very powerful, super quiet and cool running, and are the only clippers we know of that will actually cut to zero. For this reason it is important to set them up properly before use, so please make sure you read the instructions before using them!

Hi, No, they are only for skin head cuts, grade zero only. The wahl magic clippers are pretty much the same clipper except with grade attachments 1-6. Kind Regards

I am a black man with receeding hair line. I need to have a very close shave, but not necessarily a skin head, but just close enough to allow the parts of my head with hair to blend in with the parts that have no hair. Can this clipper do that?

Hi, The Wahl magic clipper we sell (please type wahl magic clipper in the search box on our site) will be the ideal hair clipper for you, as will cut through even the thickest hair and can cut very close but not quite skin head. The wahl magic clipper is a very good clipper like the balding clipper howevr has more length adjustment.

YOu have two very similar products:
the wahl 8081-017 and the wahl 8110-017. Which of this is sharpest (as in razor sharp). I require it for shaving my beard rather than for trimming my hair.

Hi, The 8081-017 wahl detailer trimmer would be best suited to you. This is one of our best selling trimmers, and would be our recommendation for close shaving for beards etc... A good choice!
